FORMATION
Obsidian forms when silica-rich lava cools rapidly, preventing crystals from developing fully and producing a natural volcanic glass.
The distinctive pale, snowflake-like patterns in snowflake obsidian are typically associated with cristobalite, a crystalline form of silica that develops within the glass as it begins to crystallise.
These contrasting markings vary naturally in size, shape and distribution, creating distinctive patterns across each polished surface.

PHYSICAL CARE
