TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: 29/10/26
These Terms of Service explain the terms that apply when you visit or use the Veil & Hex website, purchase products from us, or otherwise interact with our services.
-
Veil & Hex is a small independent crystal and curiosities shop operated by Mx. Lucinda Rosita Elizabeth Davies, trading as Veil & Hex.
These Terms of Service apply to your use of the Veil & Hex website and to any purchases made through our online shop.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or place an order.
Veil & Hex is based in England, United Kingdom.
-
You may use the Veil & Hex website for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Service.
You must not:
- Use the website in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, accounts, systems or data.
- Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful or malicious material.
- Attempt to interfere with the operation, security or functionality of the website.
- Use our website or its content for fraudulent, abusive or misleading purposes.
- Copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit our website content without our permission, except where permitted by law.
We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access to our website where we reasonably believe that these Terms of Service have been breached or that doing so is necessary to protect our website, business or customers.
Nothing in these Terms of Service affects any rights you have under applicable consumer protection or other laws that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
-
Our crystals and gemstone products are natural materials and, unless specifically stated otherwise, each piece will have its own natural characteristics.
Natural variation may include differences in:
- Colour, tone and pattern
- Shape and size
- Inclusions and mineral formations
- Natural fractures, fissures, pits or other surface characteristics
- Druzy formations and crystal growth
- Texture, transparency and clarity
Where a product is sold as a specific individual specimen, the photographs and description will represent that particular item as accurately as reasonably possible.
Where a product contains multiple crystals or pieces, such as a Brews mix, Artefact, or other collection, individual pieces may vary from the photographs in appearance, size, shape and natural characteristics.
Colours may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, display settings and individual screens.
We aim to provide accurate descriptions and photographs of our products and to clearly identify any treatments, enhancements or other relevant characteristics that we are aware of.
Natural variation does not mean that a product is defective. However, nothing in these Terms of Service affects your statutory rights if a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fails to meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.
-
We aim to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date. However, products may occasionally become unavailable, sell out or be removed from our shop without prior notice.
All product descriptions, photographs, prices and availability are subject to change. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information displayed on our website is accurate at the time you place an order.
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£) and include any applicable taxes required by law.
We reserve the right to correct pricing, description or availability errors on our website. If an obvious error affects an order you have placed, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and explain the issue.
If a product has been listed at an obviously incorrect price and you have not yet received confirmation that your order has been accepted, we may cancel the order and refund any payment that has been made.
We do not guarantee that any particular product, crystal, collection or quantity will remain available for a particular period of time.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
-
When you place an order through the Veil & Hex website, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your order.
After you place an order, you will normally receive an email confirming that we have received your order. This confirmation does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
A contract between you and Veil & Hex will be formed when we have accepted your order and confirmed that the products are available and will be supplied to you.
We may contact you if we need additional information to process your order or if there is an issue with your order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including where:
- A product is unavailable.
- There is an obvious error in the product description or price.
- We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
- We are unable to fulfil the order for reasons outside our reasonable control.
If we cancel an order after you have made a payment, we will arrange an appropriate refund.
If we are unable to accept your order, we will notify you and, where payment has already been taken, refund the amount paid for the affected order.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide when placing an order is accurate and complete, including your delivery address and contact details.
Nothing in these Terms of Service affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
-
Payment for orders must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
We may offer payment through third-party payment providers, including Stripe and PayPal. The payment methods available may change from time to time.
Payment must be successfully authorised before we can process and dispatch your order.
When you make a payment through a third-party payment provider, that provider may process your payment information in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy.
We do not routinely receive or store your full payment card details.
If a payment is declined, reversed or otherwise unsuccessful, we may be unable to fulfil the order until valid payment has been received.
If we are required to provide a refund, we will normally issue it using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
-
We currently deliver orders to addresses within the United Kingdom.
Orders are normally processed and dispatched within 1 to 3 working days of receiving cleared payment. During particularly busy periods, launches or other circumstances that cause increased order volumes, dispatch may take longer. Where there is a significant delay, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed.
Available delivery options and their prices will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive confirmation where applicable. If tracking is available for your chosen delivery method, tracking information will be provided to you.
Delivery times provided by our delivery providers are estimates and are not guaranteed unless otherwise stated.
Please ensure that your delivery address and contact information are accurate when placing your order. We cannot be responsible for delays or failed delivery resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by you.
If your order does not arrive within the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us at hello@veilandhex.com so that we can investigate the matter and, where appropriate, work with the relevant delivery provider to resolve it.
If an order arrives damaged, please see 09 · Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Orders.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

We will provide further instructions for returning an order when you contact us.
Refunds
Where you are entitled to a refund, we will process it in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.
Where applicable, we may be permitted to delay a refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that you have sent them back.
Exceptions
Certain goods or circumstances may be excluded from statutory cancellation rights under applicable law. Where an exception applies to a particular product or order, we will provide the relevant information before or at the time of purchase.
Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods
Your statutory rights apply if goods are faulty, damaged, not as described, not of satisfactory quality or otherwise fail to meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.
For information about what to do if your order arrives damaged, is faulty or contains an incorrect item, please see · Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Orders.
Promotional or discretionary returns
Where we offer any additional returns or refund arrangements beyond your statutory rights, the terms of those arrangements will be explained at the time they are offered.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
-
We take care to package orders securely and accurately, but if your order arrives damaged, is faulty, is not as described, or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us at hello@veilandhex.com as soon as reasonably possible.
Where appropriate, we may ask you to provide photographs or other information to help us understand the issue and determine the most appropriate resolution.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may offer a replacement, repair, refund or other appropriate remedy.
If an item has been damaged during delivery, please keep the item and its packaging while we investigate the issue, as photographs or inspection of the packaging may be required when dealing with the delivery provider.
Where an item is faulty, damaged or otherwise does not conform to your legal rights, we will not require you to bear costs that we are legally responsible for.
If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us before returning it so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
